Who can reserve a pass?
- Library cardholders age 18+ may reserve a pass through their local library.
- Your library card should be in good standing: unexpired no with fines.
- Adult library cardholders can only reserve one pass per destination per calendar year.
How often can I reserve a pass?
- Adult library cardholders can reserve one pass per destination per calendar year.
How many passes can I reserve at one time?
- Adult library cardholders can reserve up to two destinations per day.
I have a card at multiple libraries, can I reserve a pass at each library?
- No, you can only make a reservation at your local library. Your local library is usually where you are a resident.
What do I need to bring to the destination on the day of the reservation?
- Your printed reservation confirmation–this is your admission pass. Some destinations will also take Apple or Google Wallet instead of a printed pass, where noted.
- Your photo ID. The person named on the pass must be in attendance on the day of your reservation.
- Please double check that the destination is open on the date of your reservation, in case of unexpected closures.
How do I reserve a pass?
- On the Iowa Adventure Pass homepage start by selecting your library from the drop-down menu. Every library offers a different selection of passes, and you may only reserve a pass from your local library.
- You may filter the results by location and date. To see the pass offerings and availability click the Pass Options button.
- If a pass is available click on the Get Pass button. You will be required to enter your library card and PIN (if applicable).
- A confirmation box will appear and a confirmation email will be sent. Please print the confirmation--this is your admission pass.
- Bring the pass and photo ID with you on the day of your reservation. The person named on the pass must be in attendance on the day of your reservation.
